Truckhaus is a study in material, light, composition, and architecture. As part of Columbia's Visual Studies sequence, this project is uses rendering and photo-realism as a design tool. All of the material and textures were created to give the sense of rugged reuse, and the landscape was custom modeled to create the ideal site and orientations. Foliage was included in the rendering using proxy distribution to give a realistic sense of shadow and reflection.
